Celebrate patriotism and civic pride with Durham Parks and Recreation and the Durham Bulls! Attend the baseball game and enjoy a dynamic fireworks show following the game.
Watch the Durham Bulls take on the Charlotte Knights at 6:05 p.m. and enjoy fireworks following the game at approximately 9:15 p.m.
Tickets are required for the game, and are strongly encouraged for the fireworks show. Tickets are available on the Durham Bulls website.
Gates will open for general admission at the end of the 7th inning based on availability for those that would like to view the fireworks show from inside the ballpark. Please note, viewing areas are limited outside of the ballpark. Purchasing tickets to the game is strongly encouraged and ensures a spot inside the Durham Bulls Athletic Park to watch the fireworks.
Viewing sites outside of the ballpark include: The grassy area behind Diamond View 3, Burt's Bees - outside of the North Deck, Tobacco Road Sports Café and Ponysaurus.
Rain Date: Wednesday, July 5 @ 7:05 p.m.
Fireworks will begin at approximately 10:15 p.m.
In the event of inclement weather, the call to cancel the fireworks will be made on July 4 by 7 p.m. Participants can call the DPR weather cancellation line at 919-560-4636 for updates after 7 p.m. If the fireworks show is cancelled due to inclement weather, patrons who purchased tickets for the July 4 game must save their tickets to receive a voucher for free entry to the July 5 game.
