Celebrate Kwanzafest 2018!
Event Details
Celebrating the holiday season and Durham's diversity, AADE’s annual Kwanzaa celebration is a time to enjoy family, community, and culture.
Kwanzaa itself is a seven-day holiday that celebrates a different principle each day. AADE’s kwanzaafest takes place on the seventh day of Kwanzaa, which is dedicated to Imani, or faith.
AADE has collaborated with Latrice McFadden for a Seminar on Credit Repair / Home Buying beginning at 11am. We ask that everyone RSVP to this part of Kwanzaa.
The Children's Village will have games, Free face painting, drum classes, Arts and Crafts and special guest appearance by Muddy the MudCat. Visit our marketplace filled with vendors and community groups. Program will begin at 2pm.
