Come on this fun tour to learn all about downtown Raleigh's cool murals and public art! If you have been on our original Downtown Raleigh Murals & Public Tour, you will love our second public art tour route with NEW material!!
Event Details
This tour leaves the starting point VERY quickly so that we can start seeing all of the fabulous art, so PLEASE be on time!
If you are late, you can catch up with us by crossing over to the opposite side of Hargett St. and going into Nash Square.
We will view 2 murals in Nash Square and then we will cross Martin St. and stop in front of Whiskey Kitchen. After that, the tour will proceed down Martin St. to the east (i.e. toward Fayetteville St.).
This cool downtown tour takes you off the beaten path and shows you some of Raleigh’s best and most vibrant large scale art works!
The main focus of the tour is on Raleigh’s creative murals, but we will also see and learn about some other cool public art, including the statue of our city’s namesake.
Be sure to bring your camera so that you don’t miss out on all the great photo opportunities!
