Juneteenth is the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the ending of slavery in the United States. The day's name is a combination of "June" and "nineteenth" in honor of the date of Granger's announcement and first appeared around 1903.

Join the African American Dance Ensemble and C3 at The Venue for the Juneteenth Celebration. On June 19th beginning at 10 am, we offer a free venue of quality performances, collaborate with businesses and non-profits; and collect donated canned foods.
