About the Idea:
"So Good Pupusas" Food Truck is a venture started by UNC-CH graduate, Cecilia Polanco, with support from her family, friends, and the university community. Her main supporters/business partners are her sisters Yesenia Polanco, Ana Santibanez, and Sandra Polanco; an Attorney, Insurance Agent, and Accountant that have advised and guided the development of this venture.
In our profile picture you might notice the peculiar spelling of "So Good". In IPA, it is the linguistic spelling of how Polanco's mother Nora, a Salvadoran immigrant and pupusa maker, pronounces the English words "So Good" in her Spanish accent. It's cute, and exactly the sentiment we want out customers to have when enjoying pupusas.
