Description

Join us for Easter Egg Hunt at Joslin Garden in! Raleigh Bring joy to your children this Easter and help children in need experience joy of their own!

Event Details

This year, on April 8th, the Saturday before Easter, children, are invited to bring their Easter baskets to hunt for eggs and to find hidden “rabbits” while parents visit beautiful Joslin Garden.

Younger children (six and under) will hunt for eggs in the patio and formal garden areas in a traditional easter egg hunt at 10:00 AM.

Older children (six to ten) will go on a larger scavenger hunt along the forest trails of the garden, looking for rabbits hidden along the trails at 10:30AM.

This year tickets for the Easter Egg Hunt will include a $10 donation to help children in local Raleigh homeless shelters to attend a week of summer camp through Raleigh’s Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources and the City of Oaks Foundation’s Give Play Program.

Tickets are limited and all participants (children, not adults) must have a ticket in order to participate. This event has sold out each year it has been held. Donations made to this charitable cause are not refundable. Children will receive candy or toys in the hidden eggs.

The events will start promptly at 10:00 and 10:30 so please do not be late or your child may miss the hunt.

Funds raised from this year's easter egg hunt will be used specifically to provide these camp opportunities to children living in Raleigh area homeless shelters.
