Ruby Deluxe's Tipsy Spelling Bee is the wildest scholastic event this side of Western Bvld. For the low low price of $5 per person you can compete with or against your friends to test your stomach and your smarts in this 10-round competition. The Tipsy Spelling Bee accepts participants as individuals or teams to see who can stand the test of time across ten rounds. The rounds draw upon words from the National Scholastic Spelling Bee List as well as words chosen by our staff relating to the queer experience and common cultural phrases.
The first three rounds use "One Bee" level words, levels four thorugh seven are "Two Bee" difficulty, and the final three rounds are "Three Bee" difficulty-- harder than you might think!
Drinking will be encouraged between rounds to up the ante and laugh at your friends struggle to spell simple words with liquor on the brain. Drinking is not required for participation, it's just aspect of this adult competition.
